Michael A. Walby, O.D.

Dr. Walby earned his Doctor of Optometry at Ohio State University in 1972, where he went on to become a faculty member from 1972 to 1975.

Dr. Walby served as the Chairman of Committees for the Ohio Optometric Association from 1972 to 1975. He is also a member of the Florida Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association since 1975.

Dr. Walby is a consultant for the State of Florida concerning optometric issues. He has written articles for the American Optometric Association and the American Academy of Optometry.

Dr. Walby opened a solo practice in Perry, FL, in 1981 and is still currently seeing patients. Dr. Walby has been a Medical Consultant for the State of Florida since 1985. He has been a Worker's Compensation Certified Practitioner since 1996.
